Remote Start

You can start your car and not need to carry your keys on you. This is particularly helpful when it's hot and you want to cool your car when you're running errands. However, there are some things you need to know prior to using this feature.

Some key fobs have a dedicated remote engine start button (for instance Ford's key fob sports an arrow in a circle that goes clockwise) which you must press in order to start the car remotely. Others, like Mazda's, require that you first secure the key, and then press the start button.

You may have a dead or weak battery in your key fob if you are unable to start the car. The battery in the key fob is no longer strong enough to transmit a signal to the car system.

Door Locks
