A subtle improvement over the XM3 is the sensibility of their touch panels. They respond quicker to the touch of a panel and are easier to manage when making a phone call or listening to music. Sony has also added a feature to make voices sound more precise and clear during calls. This is a distinct and a nice addition.

The WH-1000XM4s may not be perfect, but they're among the best wireless headphones we've ever examined. They're comfortable and well-made. They also have batteries that last for more than 30 continuous hours. They can be used in a passive manner by using a TRS cable. This is ideal for travel or preserving energy.

The WH1000XM4s offer a better alternative to the Bowers & Wilkins wireless head phones Over-Ears Px7 S2. The Sonys are more comfy, and their ANC is able to block out more ambient sounds. Focal claims that the Bathys can play Bluetooth music for 30 hours. We actually got a little more with more than 40 hours on average out of a single charge. If you do need to recharge, there's an indicator light on the right earcup that will turn red when the headphone has to be charged.

They offer a good amount of features for headphones of this price point that include support for multiple devices at once and automatic pairing (though you'll need to select the source device each time you want to listen). They also have a built-in mic that can be used to control voice assistants such as Siri or Alexa. They also come with an easy-to-use interface that makes it easy to control your music as well as make calls.

For over-ear wireless headphones, the Bathys perform very well in our test of noise cancellation. They cut down the background sound by around 9 decibels in average. It's not as impressive as the ANC in the Sony WH-1000XM4 or Bose QuietComfort 45/QC45 Wireless but it's still quite effective.

They are compatible with Apple iPhones as well as Android phones, but lack the AirPods' extra features like Find My Support and head-tracked spatial audio.

The biggest difference is the massive battery that can play for up to 60 hours with noise cancellation turned on. This is more than double the amount of the other brands and enough to go on a long-distance trip without worrying about finding an outlet.
