It uses dual laser LiDAR that is similar to that used in self-driving vehicles. It can scan an area up to 32 feet across by the 270-degree angle. This translates to more precise mapping, quicker response times, as well as better cleaning accuracy.

The X2 Omni did a great job in my tests, achieving outstanding scores in debris removal and pet hair cleaning and near-perfect results in edge and crevice cleaning.

2. Deebot T10 Omni

If you're looking for a strong combination of vacuuming and mopping look into the ECOVACS Deebot T10 Omni. It is the most advanced of the T-line from the brand and features the brand new OZMO Turbo2.0 mopping system that utilizes a dual-spinning brush for superior cleaning than conventional scrubbers. It also comes with YIKO built-in, a first-of-its-kind natural language processing tech that allows it to respond to a variety of voice commands. The ECOVACS App allows you to plan your home, make cleaning schedules and adjust settings.

The main flaw of the T10 Omni is that it can't switch between vacuuming and mopping in a single operation. The T10 Omni has two modes that require you to attach mop heads to and from the vacuum in accordance with your needs. This is great for most households, but not for those with busy lives.

However, the Deebot T10 Omni is a superb robot vacuum that has impressive results in our tests on pet hair. It was able to remove more than 96% debris from our hardwood flooring. This is a fantastic performance. It also did a fantastic job with tile and carpet cleaning up more than 99% of dirt and other debris.

However it's still able get under furniture and into corners, and its mopping mode was very effective in our testing and was able to pick up pet hair and other debris with ease.

Shark's iQ may not appear as durable, but it is better at cleaning pet hair from all surfaces. It is more effective of cleaning low-pile carpet and floor surfaces that are bare. It also uses smart-pathing navigational software for greater mobility. It also lets you transfer it to a particular room, and its advanced suite of automation features includes no-go zones as well as scheduling. It also allows you to stop and restart cleaning sessions making it ideal for homes that have pets.

Its self-cleaning brushroll is able to prevent tangles and can carry up to 30 day's worth of dirt. It has a set of angled side brushes that can reach into corners, as well as a multi-stage filter system that collects dust, allergens, and dander.
