The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent choice if you're looking for an affordable mop and robot vacuum. It's a great mopping capability, but it lacks some of the features found in its more expensive sibling.

In tests, it was able remove pet hair and dry oats out of carpets with a medium-pile. It doesn't employ LIDAR, however, as cheaper models do, to identify your home.

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is one of the top-rated robots. It has a lot of features and incredible cleaning power, including an area for dirt that is integrated into the charging base. This robot can recognize your cleaning habits, and suggest automatic schedules to provide you with an effortless cleaning experience.

The irobot vacuum Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once the system is setup it can begin cleaning automatically with just one button press. You can opt for an overall clean that focuses on getting rid of larger pieces of debris such as rice and cereal or go for two thorough mappings of your area to ensure that your home has a clean and tidy appearance.

This robot vacuum is effective on floors that are unfinished and carpets with low pile. It can take in large objects and does not lose suction as fast as other models do, and it can even pick up pet hair without difficulty. It's a challenge with carpets that are high-pile or plush, but iRobot claims that future models will be more efficient.

The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that concentrates on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted, D-shaped design, which will allow it to be able to swaddle furniture and walls. It's a step up from the hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are common, but we found it to be just marginally superior to circular models.

iRobot also claims the S9+ comes with a superior filter system that prevents microscopic dust particles and allergens from recirculating throughout your home. It's a nice claim, however, we're not convinced it's enough to justify the premium price price.

Its smart navigation system uses sensors that remember your home's layout and vSLAM technology to map the interior. This allows it to avoid obstacles, like staircases and other barriers, and to tidy up your whole home in the most efficient manner possible. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and schedule cleaning times, as well as set up virtual boundary markers, so it is aware of areas that require extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that can combine vacuuming and mopping, the Roborock Q Revo stands out. Its vac settings are as effective as those on higher-end models and its mopping feature is even better. Its spinning pads do a much more impressive job of cleaning your floors than a stationary vibration pad.

It's only downside is the lack of a second brush to allow for more thorough cleaning. However, that's not a big deal if you want to own one of the best robots available. For the mopping system, I was impressed by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. The two mopping modes that it has that are less aggressive than the more powerful ones, generate very little noise, which allows you to work or watch TV without interruption. It will gently hit furniture or walls and then move away whenever it comes across one.

The Q Revo is unique in that it operates almost completely on its own, with no user involvement. The robo-vac comes with a multi-function dock that automatically transfers physical trash to the hidden bin and washes and drys the mop pads, and refills its clean water tank. The app is good at alerting you when something requires attention, like the water tank that is running out of clean or a scheduled cleaning session being cancelled because of a full dust bin.

You can also create and combine actual rooms to alter the way that Q Revo will treat your home. This feature is helpful when you have different flooring in different areas of your home, or if you need to regularly get rid of clutter like clothes, toys and books. The robo-vac is also very efficient and was among the top performers during my tests, taking debris from carpets as well as hardwoods in its first run. It can also clean up spills that are wet however I would recommend cleaning them off with a damp cloth prior to sending the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium Bob robot vacuum mop and vacuum with all the features you can wish for. It comes with a rotating mop and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets as well as hard floors. It's akin to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also comes with an auto-cleaning base station that automatically cleans and empty the mop pads, keeping them free of germs and ready to use again. It also has a sensor that can detect obstacles better, allowing it to avoid falling on furniture and other objects.

The most significant improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this model has a sleeker, more modern design, thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for its Bang & Olufsen products). The samsung robot vacuum is still large--it measures over two feet in the height and depth and weighs nearly four pounds. However the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This model is more efficient than the X1 as it charges faster and can clean 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also has a bigger dustbin that is more durable and can hold more debris which makes it easier to empty when needed.

The X2 Omni also has a more intuitive voice assistant and an app that is functional even if you are not at home. It also comes with an intelligent routing feature that allows it to clean specific areas or rooms of your home, instead of following a predetermined route.

The Omni X2 Omni has the best mopping performance of any robot we've tested, due to its rotating mop pads that scrub away tough stains and a motor that produces plenty of downward pressure. The vacuuming capabilities are also outstanding, and it also increases suction when it senses a carpet to ensure a thorough cleaning. It also has a large battery that can last for several weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as powerful as the ones we've seen on a consumer-grade robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a top-quality mop and Bob Robot Vacuum vacuum robot that comes with a range of convenience features you aren't likely to find on robots in this price range. It can create detailed floor maps and identify various flooring types. It's also among the few robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. While these features are nice to have however, they also make the L10s Ultra more in the luxury category, which might make it slightly more expensive than the average homeowner need.

Created to look like a modern floor cleaner The L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device with an elegant white finish that's enhanced by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by a huge bumper that helps protect furniture and the vacuum from damage when moving around the home. The LIDAR helps the robot vacuum avoid obstacles and recognize them as obstacles, which is an excellent feature for homes with pets or children.

The L10s Ultra offers solid vacuuming performance that clears 98.4 percent of the debris from our hardwood floor test and removing all but the most difficult juice stain. The mops are also efficient, taking away 98.4% of debris on our wood, tile, and carpet tests. However, it wasn't quite as effective in removing sand from the hard floor and the quaker oats that are on carpet.
