The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great option for those looking for a mid-range robot vacuum and mop. It's got a fantastic mopping capabilities, but is lacking some of the advanced features found in its more expensive counterpart.

During testing it was able to handle dry oats and dust on carpets with medium piles and pet hair on hard flooring. It does not use LIDAR however, like cheaper models do to identify your home.

iRobot Roomba s9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is one of the top robot vacuum-rated robots. It comes with a variety of features and impressive cleaning power, such as the dirt compartment integrated into the base of charging. It can also learn your cleaning habits and suggest automated schedules to provide a hands-free and effortless experience.

It's easy to set up thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the process. Once everything is connected, you can start the automated cleaning functions with the push of the button. You can select a general clean that prioritizes getting rid of larger pieces of debris such as rice and cereal or two thorough mappings of your home to ensure that your home has a clean and tidy appearance.

This robot vacuum is effective on both bare floors and carpet with a low pile. It is able to pick up pet hair and clean large items up. It doesn't lose its suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It's a challenge with high-pile carpets or plush carpets, but iRobot promises that the next models will be better.

The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that focuses on enhancing the edge and corner cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that adopts an open-fronted, flat-fronted design. The company hopes that this will allow it to be able to hug walls and furniture. It's a nice improvement over the standard hockey puck shape of most robovacs, though we found it to be marginally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims the S9+ has an improved filter system that prevents tiny dust particles and allergens from recirculating throughout your home. It's a nice claim, however, we're not convinced it's enough to justify the premium price tag.

Its smart navigation system utilizes sensors to keep track of the layout of your home and vSLAM to map your interior. This allows it to avoid obstacles, like stairs and other barriers and to tidy up your whole home in the most efficient manner possible. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and schedule cleaning times, and establish virtual boundaries, so it is aware of areas that require more attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robotic that combines mopping and vacuuming. Its vac settings are just as efficient as those found on more expensive models and its mopping system is even better. Its spinning pads do a better job of scrubbing floors than a stationary vibrating pad.

The only issue is that it does not have an additional rubber brush to provide more thorough cleaning, but that's an affordable cost to pay if want one of the best robots available. The dust tank on the robovac is larger than its competitors, and filling it up only takes two or three cycles, even when you have maximum dirt.

As for the mopping device, I was impressed by its ability to scrub the tough dirt off my floors. The two mopping settings that it has that are less powerful than the high-powered modes, produce very little noise, so you can work or watch television without being distracted. If it comes into contact with an object, such as a wall or piece of furniture it gently bumps into it and then moves forward.

What really distinguishes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to operate almost autonomously with very little need for user intervention. The dock of the robo-vac has multiple functions and will automatically move garbage into a bin hidden. It also washes and dries, as well as refills the clean water tank. The app is capable of alerting you when something requires attention, like the clean water tank running low or a scheduled vacuuming session having been canceled due to a stuffed dust bin.

You can also create or merge actual rooms to alter the way Q Revo manages your home. This is an excellent feature for those who have multiple areas of the home with different flooring materials or there's items that need to be removed frequently, like toys, clothes and books. The robot vacuum was also among the top performers in my test, picking up debris on carpets as well as hardwood floors on the first attempt. Although it's still quite large--it's more than two feet in height and depth and weighs nearly four pounds--the entire robot and its base are much smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This version is also more efficient than the X1 one, because it has faster battery charging and can handle a complete cleaning of about 1,500 square feet on one charge. It also comes with a larger and more robust dustbin that can store more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant and an app that can be used even when you're not at home. It also has additional mopping modes as well as an intelligent routing feature that gives it the flexibility to clean specific areas or rooms of your home instead of just following a specific path.

The X2 Omni is the top mopping robot. Its mop pads rotating remove tough stains and its motor produces a lot of downward pressure. Its vacuuming is excellent as well, and it boosts suction when it detects carpet to ensure it does an excellent job. It also has a huge battery that can last for weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as effective as the ones we've seen on an ordinary robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a top-quality robot vacuum and mop that comes with a range of convenience features you do not often find on robots at this price. It can create precise floor maps and recognize different types of flooring. It's also one of the few robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. Although these features are great but they also make the L10s Ultra more in the category of luxury, which might make it slightly more expensive than some homeowners need.

Designed to look like a contemporary floor cleaner The L10s Ultra is a tall and slim machine with an elegant white finish accented by mirror plating and silver elements. The front of the machine is adorned with an impressive bumper that protects the furniture and vacuum cleaner while moving around your home. In the pane in the front is additional navigation technology that is comprised of sensors that help the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, you'll find a single button that essentially is a switch for on and off. Clicking this will turn on the vacuum, and pressing it again will shut off the vacuum and return it to its base station. The circular menu in the center of the control panel lets users to select cleaning options, schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons on the screen will bring up the app's settings menu where you can tweak the way that the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination of cameras and LIDAR technology to map your home. This produces a precise floor plan that allows the robot vacuum and mop with ease, without getting stuck in areas with clutter. The LIDAR also lets the robot vacuum to recognize and avoid obstacles which is a great feature for families with children or pets.

The L10s Ultra provides solid vacuuming performance which clears 98.4% of debris from our hard-floor test and removing all but the most difficult juice stains. The mops are also efficient, taking away 98.4 percent of debris from our wood, tile and carpet tests. However, it wasn't quite as efficient in dealing with sand on the hard floor and the quaker oats that are on carpet.
