The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a fantastic choice if you're looking for a robotic vacuum and mop that's middle-of-the-road. It's a great mopping capability, but it lacks some of the advanced features of its more expensive sibling.

During testing it was able to eliminate pet hair and dry oats from carpets with a medium pile. It doesn't use LIDAR, however, as cheaper models do to identify your home.

1. IRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is among the most highly-rated robots. It offers impressive cleaning power and numerous features that include a self-emptying dirt compartment built into its charging base. This robot can recognize your habits of cleaning, and suggest automated schedules to give you an effortless cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once the system is in place you can begin the cleaning automatically with just one button. You can select an overall clean that focuses on the removal of larger particles like cereal and rice. Or you can select two detailed mappings to ensure that your entire home is completely cleaned.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that focuses on improving edge and corner cleaning. 2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a machine that combines mopping and vacuuming. Its vacuum settings are as good as those found on higher-end models. Its mopping system is better because its spinning pads clean your floors more effectively than the vibrating pads.

The only drawback is the absence of a second brush for more thorough cleaning. However, that's not a big deal when you're looking to purchase one of the best robots on the market. The robo-vac's dust tank is also bigger than those on many of its competitors and takes only two or three cycles to fill it, even at the highest dirt level.

For the mopping system, I was impressed by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. The two lowest mopping settings that are less powerful than high-powered ones, create little noise, so you can work or watch television without getting distracted. If it encounters an object, such as a wall or piece of furniture it gently smacks into it and then moves on.

What distinguishes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to run nearly completely on its own, with no need for human intervention. The robo-vac has a multifunction dock that automatically moves physical garbage into the bin hidden from view and also washes and drys mop pads and replenishes its clean water tank. The app is adept at alerting you when something is in need of attention, like the water tank being empty or a scheduled vacuuming session being cancelled because of a full dust bin.

You can also create or merge rooms to alter the way Q Revo handles your home. That's a handy feature to have if you have several areas of your home with different flooring materials or there's a lot of clutter that must be cleaned out regularly, such as toys, clothes and books. The robo-vac is also very efficient and was among the top performers in my tests, taking dirt from carpets and hardwoods on the first pass. It can also vacuum up wet spills however I would recommend wiping them dry using a clean cloth before bringing the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum with all the features you can need. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+, it comes with a powerful vacuum that has a powerful suction that cleans carpets and hard floors, as well as the mop's rotating design that can scrub tough stains. It also has self-cleaning bases that automatically empty and cleans the mop pads, ensuring that they remain them germ-free and ready for use again. It also features a new sensor system that better detects obstacles, granting it the ability to avoid falling over furniture or other objects.

The vacuuming capabilities are also outstanding, and it also increases suction when it detects a carpet to ensure a thorough cleaning. It also has a huge battery that can last for weeks between charges, and its mopping mode is as powerful as anything we've seen in a consumer-grade robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a high-end robot vacuum and mop that comes with a variety of features that you aren't likely to find on robots in this price. It can build detailed floor maps, detect various flooring types and is one of the few that can automatically wash and dry its mop pads. These are nice features however they can place the L10s in the premium category. This could mean it's more expensive than what homeowners want.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It is tall and slim and has a white-colored finish that is complemented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine features a large bumper that protects the furniture and vacuum cleaner when you are moving around your home. Sensors are concealed behind the front pane, which helps the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the screen, you'll find a single button that essentially is a switch for on and off. This button will activate the vacuum. Clicking it again will turn it off and send it to its base station. The circular menu in the middle of the control panel allows you to choose cleaning modes as well as schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons on the screen will open up the settings menu in which you can modify how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

The L10s Ultra is a powerful vacuum cleaner, which removes 98.4 percent of debris from our test on hardwood floors and removing all but stubborn juice staining. The mops also work well in removing 98.4 percent of the debris from our tile, carpet and wood tests. It was not as effective at removing sand from the hard floor or quaker oats from the carpet.
