BMW Ghost Immobiliser

This will activate the anti-hijack function and once active, any attempt to start the engine will be immediately blocked. The system will hone the horn flashing the indicators, and stall the vehicle if the code is not found. The Anti-Hijack feature can be removed by entering your push sequence or by entering service mode that allows your car to temporarily start and drive without having to enter your PIN.

If you have an GPS device that is connected to your BMW it can be used to turn off the Anti-Hijack feature so you can still use the navigation system in your car stolen with ghost immobiliser even when the vehicle is parked and not being watched.
