The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a fantastic choice if you're looking for a robotic mop and vacuum that's mid-range. It has a great mopping capabilities, but is lacking certain of the more advanced features found in its more expensive counterpart.

In tests, it was able to take on dust and dry oats on carpets with medium piles as well as pet hair on hard floors. It doesn't employ LIDAR however, like cheaper models do, to map your home.

The only issue is that it doesn't have a second rubber brush for deeper cleaning, but that's an acceptable price to pay if you want one of the best robots on the market. The dust tank on the robo-vac is larger than its competitors, and filling it up takes only two or three times, even when you have maximum dirt.

In terms of the mopping system, I was amazed by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. The two mopping settings that it has that are less powerful than high-powered modes, produce very little noise, so you can work or watch television without getting distracted. It will gently bump into furniture or walls and then move on whenever it comes across one.

What really distinguishes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to operate almost completely autonomously, requiring only a little for human intervention. The dock of the robo-vac has multiple functions and automatically transfers trash into a hidden bin. It also cleans, dries and refills the clean water tank. The app will only inform you when something is wrong like a low clean water tank or a cancelled vacuuming session due to the bin being full.

You can also combine or create actual rooms in order to customize the way that Q Revo handles your home. That's a handy feature to have if you have several rooms in your home that have different flooring materials or there's clutter that must be cleared out frequently, such as clothes, toys, and books. The robo-vac is also efficient and was among the top performers during my tests, removing debris from both carpets and hardwood floors in the first attempt. It is able to vacuum up wet spills. I recommend drying them with a towel before sending it in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a premium robot vacuum and mop and more. It has an omni-rotating mop as well as a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. It is similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also has a self vacuum robot-cleaning station that automatically washes and empties mop pads to keep them clean and ready for reuse. It also comes with a brand new sensor system that is able to better recognizes obstacles, giving it the ability to avoid falling over furniture and other objects.

The most notable improvement over the ECOVACS The X1 Deebot is the sleeker, modern design. This is thanks to Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. The robot is still large--it measures over two feet in both height and depth, and weighs nearly four pounds. However the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo and iRobot j7.

This version is also more efficient than the X1 version, since it has a faster charging speed for batteries and can handle a complete cleaning of about 1,500 square feet with just one charge. It also has a bigger dustbin that is more durable and can hold more debris which makes it easier to empty it when needed.

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a top-quality mop and robot vacuum that comes with a variety of convenience features you do not often find on robots at this price. It can make precise floor maps and recognize different types of flooring. It's also one of the only robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. Although these features are nice to have but they also make the L10s Ultra more in the luxury category and could mean it's a little more expensive than what some homeowners require.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It's tall and slim and has a white-colored finish that is complemented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine has an impressive bumper that protects the furniture and vacuum cleaner when you are moving around your home. In the pane in the front is a second navigation technology with sensors that help the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the screen, you'll find a single button that essentially is a switch for on and off. This button will activate the vacuum. The LIDAR also assists the robot vacuum recognize and avoid obstacles, which is a nice feature for households with pets or children.

The L10s Ultra is a powerful vacuum cleaner, removing 98.4 percent of the debris we test on hardwood floors and removing all but stubborn juice stains. The mops are also efficient, taking away 98.4 percent of the debris that was found on our wood, tile and carpet tests. It was not as effective at removing sand from the hard flooring or quaker oats off the carpet.
