It will also stop the vehicle if the code is not found. By entering your push sequence, or entering service mode, you can cancel the Anti-Hijack function. This allows your vehicle to temporarily start without the need to enter the PIN.

If you own a GPS device that is connected to your BMW it is possible to use it to cancel the Anti-Hijack feature, allowing you to still use the navigation system inside your car when the vehicle is parked and unsupervised.
