The Q Revo is a great option if you're looking to buy a mid-range robot vacuum and mop. It gives a great mopping experience, but it lacks the features that make up its more expensive counterpart.

During testing it was able to remove pet hair and dry oats from carpets with a medium pile. It doesn't use LIDAR, however, as cheaper models do to locate your home.

1. iRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top robot vacuums. It is a powerful cleaner and numerous features that include the self-emptying dirt container built into its charging base. This robot can recognize your habits of cleaning, and suggest automatic schedules to provide you with an effortless cleaning experience.

The setup process is simple thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the procedure. Once the system is setup you can begin the automated cleaning with a single button press. You can select an overall clean that focuses on the removal of larger debris such as rice and cereal. You can also opt for two thorough mappings to ensure that your entire home is completely cleaned.

This robot vacuum is effective on floors that are unfinished and carpets with low pile. It sucks up large items and doesn't lose suction as rapidly as some other models and can clean up pet hair with ease. It has a difficult time with carpets that are high-pile or plush however, iRobot promises that the next models will be better.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which is focused on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted, D-shaped design, which it hopes will allow it to fit into furniture and walls. It's a great improvement over the traditional hockey puck shape of robovacs, but we found it to be only incrementally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also has a superior filtration system, which prevents micro-sized particles and allergens from circulating in your home. It's a nice claim but we're not convinced it's enough to justify the high price cost.

Its smart navigation system employs sensors that remember the layout of your home and vSLAM technology for mapping the interior. This allows it to steer clear of obstacles, like stairs and other barriers, and to clean up your entire home efficiently possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and also set virtual boundary markers so that the robot can determine which areas need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that combine mopping and vacuuming, the Roborock Q Revo stands out. Its vac settings are as effective as those on more expensive models and its mopping system is superior, as its spinning pads do a better job of scrubbing your floors than a stationary vibrating pad.

The Q Revo is unique in that it operates almost completely on its own, with no user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac is multifunctional and will automatically move trash into a hidden bin. It also washes and dries, as well as refills the clean water tank. The app is good at notifying you when something requires attention, for example, the water tank that is running out of clean or a scheduled cleaning session being cancelled because of a full dust bin.

Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it is a top-quality vacuum that has a powerful suction that cleans hard and carpet floors, as well as the mop's rotating design that can scrub tough stains. It also comes with a self-cleaning base station that automatically empty and cleans mop pads, keeping them free of germs and ready to use again. The Omni X2 Omni is the most effective mopping performance of any robot we've tested, due to its rotating mop pads that clean tough stains away and a motor that produces plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is top-notch, and it boosts suction when it senses carpets to ensure thorough cleaning. It has a large, rechargeable battery that can last up to seven days. The mopping feature of the robot is also very effective.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum is a premium model that offers a number of features that aren't often found on robots of this price. It can create detailed floor maps and identify different flooring types. It's also among the few robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These are nice features, but they also place the L10s in the luxury category. This might make it more expensive than what homeowners would need.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It's tall and slim and has a white-colored finish that is complemented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine has an enormous bumper that shields the vacuum cleaner and furniture as you move around your home.
