Leonie is not an advocate of trading in her breeches or riding side-saddle in exchange for layers of skirts, petticoats, and dresses. She also isn't willing to ride on the side saddle and shoots enemies (despite it being a hazardous job). While Avon is a little discomfitted by her rebellious ways at first, Avon soon realizes she is his favorite.

It was a little difficult to keep track of the story at first, as Heyer calls the Duke various names on the initial pages. Once you have it sorted out, it becomes much easier to read. The book was amazing and I highly recommend it. Whether you're a fan of Georgette Heyer or simply love a good romance I'm sure you won't be disappointed!
