The Q Revo is a great choice if you're looking for a robotic mop and vacuum that's mid-range. It's a great mopping performance but lacks some of the features that are found in its more expensive sibling.

In tests, it was able to take on dry oats and dust on medium-pile carpet and pet hair on hard floors. It doesn't employ LIDAR however, like cheaper models do, to identify your home.

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is among the most highly-rated robots. It offers impressive cleaning power and plenty of features that include the self-emptying dirt container built into its charging base. This robot can learn your cleaning habits, and recommend automatic schedules to provide you with a truly hands-free cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automatic cleaning functions at the touch of one button. You can select an overall clean, which prioritizes the removal of larger particles like rice and cereal. You can also opt for two thorough mappings to ensure that your entire home is completely cleaned.

This vacuum works well on floors that are unfinished and carpets with a low pile. It sucks up large items and does not lose suction as fast as some other models and can pick up pet hair with ease. It's a challenge with plush or high-pile carpets however iRobot claims that future models will be better.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which focuses on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba that has an open-fronted, flat-fronted design. The company hopes that this will allow it to be able to hug the furniture and walls. It's an improvement over the hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are common, but we found it to be just marginally superior to circular models.

iRobot also claims that the S9+ has a superior filtering system that blocks microscopic dust particles and allergens from circulating in your home. It's a nice claim however, we're not convinced it's enough to justify the high price price.

Its smart navigation system uses sensors to remember the arrangement of your home and vSLAM for mapping the interior. It then cleans your entire home with ease by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and set cleaning times, and create virtual boundary markers, so it can recognize areas that need extra attention.

When it is about robots that combine vacuuming and mopping, the Roborock Q Revo is a standout. Its vacuum settings are as effective as those on higher-end models, and its mopping system is better still--its spinning pads do a more impressive job of cleaning your floors than a stationary vibrating pad.

It's only downside is the lack of a second brush to allow for more thorough cleaning. However, it's not a major issue if you want to own one of the best robots available. The robo-vac's dust tank larger than many of its rivals and it takes only two or three cycles to fill it, even at the highest dirt level.

For the mopping device, I was awestruck by its ability to scrub tough dirt from my floors. The two mopping modes that it has, which are less aggressive than the high-powered ones, create very little noise, which allows you to work or even watch TV without distraction. If it comes into contact with the wall or a piece of furniture it gently bumps into it and moves on.

What sets the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to run nearly completely autonomously, requiring only a little for human intervention. The robo-vac features a multi-function dock that can automatically transfer physical trash into the hidden bin, as well as washes and dry mop pads and replenishes its clean water tank. The app will only inform you if something is wrong like the water tank being empty or a canceled vacuuming session due to the bin being full.

This version is also more efficient than the X1 one, because it has a faster charging speed for batteries and can complete a cleaning of around 1,500 square feet on one charge. It also has a bigger and more robust dust bin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

Lastly it is worth noting that the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app as well as an assistant voice that works offline, so you can control it even when you're away from home. It also has more mopping modes and an intelligent routing feature that allows you to clean specific areas or rooms of your home instead of just following a specific path.

The X2 Omni is the top robot for mopping. Its mop pads that rotate clean tough stains and its motor produces a lot of downward pressure. Its vacuuming is excellent as well, and it boosts suction when it detects carpets to ensure that it does an excellent job. It also has a large battery that can last for weeks between charges, and its mopping mode is as effective as the ones we've seen on an ordinary robot.

It can create detailed floor maps and identify different types of flooring. It's also one of the few robots that can automatically clean and dry its mop pad. Although these features are nice to have but they also push the L10s Ultra into the category of luxury which could make it a little more expensive than what some homeowners need.
