iRobot Vacuum and Mop Review

Unlike some robot vacuums, this one isn't afraid to go on the stairs. However, just like any mop and vacuum, it can get clogged by debris such as the stray tennis shoes or ribbons or yarn, play jewelry or other objects that are loose.

You can use the iRobot Home app to label rooms and establish zones that are not allowed to enter. It also lets you track your mops's progress and the status of its battery.

iRobot Combo j7+

The Combo J7+ is part of the iRobot mop and robot vacuum lineup that combines the robot cleaner's smart mapping capabilities and its ability to tackle spills. It has the same onboard acoustic sensors and iAdapt 2.0 navigation that are used in other Roomba options and maps your home 7 times faster than earlier models. It also lets you set Keep Out Zones and Clean Zones to tell the robot which areas it should stay clear of and when to clean them.

In my testing the Combo J7+ was successful at avoiding spraying water onto the rug. The robot didn't attempt to cross the rug, even though i robot vacuum cleaner moved it around a few times.

The arm comes with a 240mL tank that is easily removed and filled. This makes it easier to use than the mop pads found on other 2-in-1 robotic arms. It also uses the iRobot's PrevisionVision obstacle avoidance technology which is more sophisticated than some systems of this type.

iRobot Combo i5

The i3 Plus has a lot of other amazing features, like its advanced cleaning system and a power-lifting 10x vacuum. It also comes with the ability to clean in three stages. It has a textured finish to keep pet hair, dust and fingerprints from getting on.

It does well on plain flooring and can clean up most debris however, it was a bit difficult with pet hair on low pile carpets. It does a fantastic job with carpets with a high pile and is much quieter than the other models. The i3 is a little more expensive than the Roborock S4 Max but it has a self-emptying station that emptys the dirtbag, fills its water reservoir, and cleans the mop pads.

With the i3 app you can create schedules to clean at a time that suits your requirements. You can also control your robot via your voice assistant to begin or stop cleaning. It also monitors the unique floor plan of your home to offer personalized scheduling and cleaning habits. It utilizes the latest mapping sensors to navigate hardwood and carpet, and learns your routine to optimize performance.

iRobot Combo i2

The Combo i2 is the latest robot mop and vacuum from iRobot. It is a combination of iRobot's intelligent floor cleaning technology to make it a great pick for homes with hard floors and carpets or rugs. In contrast to most robot vacuums the Combo i1 can retract its mophead completely to the top of the robot when it senses carpet. This allows it to vacuum and then wipe the carpet clean with its microfiber cleaning cloths and ensure that all surfaces are spot-free. It's a great choice for homes with high-pile carpets as it can take on more dirt and debris than weaker vacuums. The i4 also requires less maintenance, has lower recurring costs and is more efficient in the lowest suction mode.
