The robo-vac is also very efficient and was among the top performers during my tests, removing dirt from carpets and hardwood floors in the first attempt. It can also vacuum up wet spills however I would recommend wiping them dry using a clean cloth before bringing the robot in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum that comes with all the features you could want. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it has an excellent vacuum with powerful suction that cleans carpets and hard floors, and a rotating mop that scrubs tough staining. It also has an automatic cleaning station that cleans and empty mop pads to keep them clean and ready for reuse. It also comes with a sensor that recognizes obstacles better, allowing it to avoid falling on furniture and other objects.

The biggest improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this model has a sleeker, more modern design thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for Bang & Olufsen products).
